Tell us about your sports & fitness background. I was a Swimmer in high school. I have competed in many sports throughout the years.
What are your hobbies, interests and/or talents outside of CrossFit? I have many diverse hobbies, which cannot be discussed here.
How did you first get exposed to CrossFit Garland? Take us back to your first WOD… what was it, and how did it feel? I was exposed to crossfit garland through a city sponsored initiative. We actually had two benchmark wods as our intro. I don’t remember what they were. I just remembered that they sucked!
What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health, and fitness since starting CrossFit Garland? (Before/After)
What sort of changes in your life have you experienced out of taking on something like CrossFit that were totally unexpected? I have gotten in to coaching at the CFG. Which I had no plans to do when I first started CF.
Please share with us any of your favorite CrossFit / CrossFit Garland moments. I love the team events that we have competed in. I have seen it bring out the best in our teammates. I also love the camaraderie of it.
Any advice for people just getting started in the CrossFit Garland tribe? Take small steps. Don’t expect major changes overnight. (although you may see them). Remember to always push yourself.
